Brennan Taylor, Founder and Owner

Galileo Games was founded in 1996 by Brennan Taylor as a way to publish his fantasy role-playing game The Legend of Yore. Brennan is a game designer and writer living in rural New Jersey. He has written several role-playing games, including Mortal Coil, How We Came to Live Here, and Bulldogs! He has edited several other role-playing and fiction products, including Kingdom of Nothing, Blood Red Sands, and Redwings’ Gambit. He is also one of the original founders of Indie Press Revolution, an online store created to help self-publishers sell role-playing games. He lives with his wife and two teen children, and can be found haunting East Coast game conventions.

J.R. Blackwell, Creative Director

J.R. Blackwell is a writer, photographer and avid gamer. She has been gaming since she was a child and enjoys tabletop, board games and LARPing. She has been published in a variety of formats, and has an essay in the Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. She received her Masters degree from the University of Pennsylvania where she studied creative writing. Her photography has been in magazines and on book covers.
