		<description>Hey Jonathan, thanks for the interest.  The roots of the setting go back to my old D&amp;D1e campaign back in the 80s.  You might imagine how excited I was when Dark Sun came out because it was alot of the stuff we were playing already, which made it easy to grab Dark Sun material and plug and play it into my campaign...so there&#039;s been a ton of cross pollination over the years.

Its an original system not tied to FATE, but when I say &quot;original&quot; I mean &quot;influenced by a metric ton of games&quot; most of the bits and bobs of inspiration have been so thoroughly absorbed that they&#039;re largely invisible at this point, but part that&#039;s probably most recognizable is the actual dice mechanics borrow heavily from Dogs in the Vineyard with a pretty hefty tactical twist of my own.</description>
