With a mechanic based off of the FATE system, we are excited about adapting Bulldogs! to LARP. If you sign up early and contact J.R. Blackwell at jrblackwell@galileogames.com, with character ideas and preferences, we will do our best to accommodate you. If you are planning to go, sign up early and notify us, as space IS limited. Bulldogs! The LARP!

Wednesday, March 14th, 2012

We are planning a Bulldogs! LARP for Dexcon (July 4-8, 2012 Morristown, New Jersey) and we want to figure out how many people would be interested in playing with us! We’re planning a grand adventure for our players, with Space Pirates, Transgalaxy reps, grumpy Captains, and even a puppet actor! But before we pull out all the stops, and make a dozen costumes we want to know: Do you want to play?

A lot of interest means that we schedule ourselves during prime time at the convention, get costumes, props and make a big, crazy adventure plot for our players, something with professional actors and makeup and over-the-top fun. This would be multiple crews and a giant number of players, all with their own NPC Captain to guide the way.

A little interest means that we schedule an out of the way time slot, and make a smaller plot, with a limited amount of players for a small, fun adventure designed for a single crew.

So! Would you be interested in a Bulldogs! LARP at Dexcon? Should we pull out all the stops and make a giant LARP opera or should we leave those stops were they are and make an intimate dinner party LARP?

Let us know via the comments here or on our facebook page. We look forward to hearing from you!

Dreamation 2012

Dreamation 2012 came and went, bringing with it friends and new games. Galileo Games was there with games of Shelter in Place, Bulldogs! Mortal Coil and Brennan Taylor’s new game The Art of Power, which will be coming out later this year. We were able to talk with exciting artists, writers and game designers about new and upcoming projects, and we’re looking forward to making some announcements and taking some submissions in the next few months. Thank you to all the organizers of this fantastic event and to everyone who came out and played a game with us!

We Need You!

Wednesday, January 4th, 2012

What do you do when there are more conventions than you can possibly attend, more games than you could run by yourself in one convention, and you happen to have lots of cool swag?  That’s when it’s time to recruit a few good Game Masters.

We are looking for a few good players to join the Galileo Games Demo team as official Galileo Gamers.  We need people who can demo our games at conventions. If you’ve run a Galileo game, own a game, or have enjoyed a game before, then become an official Galileo Gamer, and help us spread the word about the games you love.

How can I join the Galileo Gamers?

All you have to do is run one of our games at a convention. If you are running a game at a convention Galileo Games is attending, then you can simply talk to us about what you’re running. If you are running a game at a convention we won’t be attending, then please e-mail info@galileogames.com with a link to or photograph of the convention schedule that shows that they will be hosting a game.

What do I get as a Galileo Gamer?

If you run a Galileo Game at a convention you will be gifted a Swag Bag of Galileo products. This Swag Bag may contain t-shirts, games, exclusive content, or even an electronic PDF bundle. The Swag Bag will change depending on what we have in production and the interests of the Galileo Gamers.

What are the Galileo Games?

Official Galileo Conventions

Galileo Games will be attending five conventions this year. If you plan to run a Galileo game at one of these conventions, e-mail us at info@galileogames.com and we’ll make sure to pack an extra special swag bag for you.

  • Balticon: May 25 – 28
  • Dexcon: July 4 -8
